"New Discoveries are made every day in
the fight against cancer. Scientists across the U.S. are working relentlessly to
unlock the mystery of how genes affect cancer development, so that we will be able to
create new ways to prevent, detect and treat the disease. The goal of the Cancer
Genetics Network is to develop an extensive resource of cancer patients, survivors and
family members to serve as study participants. It's just one more way doctors
and patients can work together towards a common goal."
