Hi everyone!

I just wanted to let you all know that we have upgraded the software which allows us to let centers upgrade via the web in a secure, encrypted fashion. While at the moment, none of the changes made are visible to the end user, soon you will see improvements to the upload process. With our upgrade, improvements will include:

* The ability to upload all files from one page (without having to choose type of transmission)

* The ability to specify how many files you will be uploading at a single time and a return of that number of upload form choices

* Auto email notification to both the person uploading at the center as well as notification to UCI staff.

* Saving the filename as specified by the technical person uploading the files (as opposed to our server auto renaming the files upon upload)

* Better (faster) performance

* Easier to understand error messaging

Most of these changes will take place within the next few weeks.

I also wanted to ensure CFRBCCS technical people that the upload area for the biospecimen files will be in place before March 1 and I will notify you as soon as it is up.
